FUJITAKA is a towel manufacturer based in Imabari that unusually offers an integrated production service from dyeing the yarn to the finished product. We can offer you various options for towels to meet your budget and the size lot you want.

Our color series with a choice of 100 colors, produced using FUJITAKA's unique in-house processes from the yarn dyeing onwards.

We can embroider names such as corporate logos and characters etc.
In our COLOR100 series we can make bath towels, face towels and hand towels from a selection of 100 colors and we recommend this product if you are in a hurry or need small lots.

We can create an original tag and attach it to the towels for you.
Or you can provide your own tag.
Usually we sew the tags into the hem, but we can also put them onto the surface of the towel, or attach them to the side in a loop shape.

Top-quality original production

The Jacquard weave that uses pre-dyed yarn has a different reproduction capacity to printed items - even the same design can look different depending on the method used and the choice of yarn.

    You can create changes in the surface of the towel by changing the yarn count in the design.
    This method takes advantage of the yarn's characteristic features - with twisted thread tending to stand upright, and single thread lying flat.

    You can get a three-dimensional effect by combining shearing with non-twisted yarn. The end product is a towel with the soft texture of non-twisted yarn and the shine obtained from shearing.

    You can expose an additional color by combining the base thread and the pile. Fujitaka has patented the technology to remove the upper thread so that the pile yarn can't be seen on the base thread.

    This weave uses a thread density that is approximately double that produced on a normal towel loom. It is possible to reproduce multiple colors and detailed patterns. This technology is also used in our Five-colored Weave

    This is a two-ply weave that takes advantage of both pile and gauze at the same time. Free-style patterns can be reproduced on both the pile and the gauze and the texture has two different types of feel, making this an appealing method.

    This is a three-ply gauze weave. This method allows us to reproduce delicate pattens using three colors and handle a variety of weave structures depending on the intended use. It can also accommodate sizes up to 190cm wide.

    This method allows us to produce images in full color - something that was said to be impossible using Jacquard weaving techniques. Full color reproductions are available in a mix of five colors - red, blue, yellow, white and black.

The order process

    Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding our products, or if you would like a quote.
    Let us know if you have an image of the design you want etc.

  2. (ii)

    We will send you out a proposal/quote
    You can check out the specifications and have a look at some samples of work we have done in the past.
    Please contact us if you need something different - we can suggest different methods etc., depending on your delivery deadline and budget requirements.

  3. (iii)

    Creation of a sample
    If you want, we can also prepare a sample at an additional cost.
    The lead time varies depending on the method and can take 15 - 45 days.
    You can also check out a simulated image of the finished product.

  4. (iv)

    Placement of a formal order
    You place your order once you have decided on the final specifications.
    Please note that it is difficult to change specifications or order quantities once your order has been placed.

  5. (v)

    Production & delivery
    The whole integrated production process, from the dyeing of the yarn to the final finished product, is carried out at our factory in Imabari.
    And delivery generally takes 15-60 days.
    Your delivery date will be confirmed when you place your order, as it varies depending on specifications, timings and quantity.
